Notes:

I hope you are doing well. I definitely would be really appreciative to have my profile featured in the Wiretaps Podcast. I feel as if a I am an average white male/MBA applicant and a review of my profile would prove very useful for people in a similar situation.

I am currently working as a Senior Internal Auditor at a non-profit healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA. I have been with my current for 3.5 years and have received one promotion. Prior to this role, I spent approximately two years at a Big 4 accounting firm. I majored in accounting and finance at a large state school in the Philadelphia area consistently rated around 100-105 in the US News rankings and was a graduate of the university's honors and business honors program. Outside of work, I have umpired over 100 youth baseball games, have been an SAT Tutor with a Test Prep company for 2.5 years, and have volunteered at a local non-profit providing horseback riding lessons to children with disabilities for 1.5 years. My goal is to use the MBA to switch from an auditing/accounting career to a consulting career. Specifically, I am targeting firms such as Deloitte, E&Y, or PwC and hope to obtain a consulting position in the education or public sectors of these firms since that is where most of my professional and extracurricular experiences have been.

I am particularly interested to learn how competitive my GPA and somewhat lowly employers and undergrad make me for these schools. Thank you!
