My degree came from UMGC, an online school. It is non-profit and state run, however I imagine it may be looked down upon regardless. I got the degree initially with the plan of Commissioning as an officer in the Navy, but have since changed my mind about my career goals due to family issues.

Likes Earned: 1153 I am not overly concerned about the caliber of your undergraduate degree; the GPA is superb and you seem to have extenuating circumstances that have guided your path to that program. For instance did you enlist in the Navy out of high school and then get your ugrad degree while serving? Beyond all that, your GRE score is certainly respectable and should put you in play for pretty much any school on your list where counting stats are concerned. What I would focus on is the development of a very clear set of goals - both short and long-term - so that the admissions readers can fully understand your fit with the MBA and your desire to throw yourself headlong into the experience. You've been in the Navy for eight years, and that's a long time, so you'll need to demonstrate the ability to pivot to this exciting next chapter.
