grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1149 Many of the key ingredients seem to be present; testing and GPA are top line for sure. The key will be effectively positioning your mix of MBB work, missionary travels, and reserve experience, while ideally weaving it all into an interesting story that supports your long-term plans in tech and entrepreneurship. Also, I'm not sure I would ever recommend ONLY applying to the trilogy, unless you have a strong appetite for risk. For instance, Sloan, Kellogg, or Haas could make sense in light of your expressed goals.

175andy Likes Earned: 1 Thanks for taking the time to look at my post Alex and Graham! So my consulting experience has mostly been focused in cybersecurity work and data analytics. Being immersed in that world has helped me appreciate the impact one can have in tech and informed my desire to pivot post b school. i would say my missionary and military service has given me a desire to work in an area where I can have a positive impact on the outside world and that’ll inform the particular niche of the tech world I end up in (though I haven’t figured that out just yet, I’d love to use b school as time to think about that). To your point about HSW Graham, I’d definitely be open to applying to other schools that might support my aspirations. My risk tolerance is definitely higher than most because I was admitted to Harvard law schools deferred program (2+2 equivalent) back in undergrad so if nothing works out I have that (and yes, the law is an area im very interested in and would happily do if mba didn’t work out). Also maybe this is relevant, maybe this is not, but I graduated college in three years. Besides my missionary experience, I’ve been coaching transitioning vets in college apps for 3 years now, volunteering as a youth mentor at my church and I won an army medal for some community service I did.
