Hi - I used to work for the structuring team within the markets division in Morgan Stanley Japan and now working in real estate private equity. I intend to apply for R2 this year. Could you please assess my chances?

You’ll need to show impact, etc. Are you involved in activities outside of work? Your GPA/GMAT combo is going to be within range, but below the median for these top programs. Are you considering programs from the next tier, at all? (1)

Also agree that your numbers are a tick lower than the averages at said targets. Question for you: are you a Japanese national? Was your undergraduate degree in Japan? Do you speak Japanese and other languages? These elements could be helpful as you seek to differentiate and make your case. Best of luck!
