Notes:

Currently living in NC but thinking of moving back to Chicago. I can't decide which program would set me up more for consulting at MBB(or any consulting firm). They're both great programs; does it even matter? If not, another big concern is the cost, which would make Indiana the best fit.

anon65627 Likes Earned: 107 Congrats on your acceptances! I agree both are great programs, but Kelley's location near Chicago would give you an edge if you want to end up living there (specially for networking with consulting firms that have firms in Chicago). (3)

anon21843 Likes Earned: 19 Congrats on both! I feel both have similar placement statistics into consulting (UNC has been lacking lately). Kelley would certainly help with Chicago placement more so than KF. (3)

anon17670 Likes Earned: 318 Congratulations . You have great offers 1. Regional recruitment for MBB or Top consulting firms. In my opinion, both programs will land you in consulting. However, if you are considering consulting in Chicago, by location Kelley will have better access. If Houston, I don't know much about UNC-KF's placement in Houston, however, I don't think it is impossible. 2. Cost of attendance: Kelley has the most affordable MBA COA for top 25 programs. However, will the cost difference be a determining factor if you think about long-term. Finally, since you are considering moving from NC. It might be better to get into a program outside NC for networking purposes. (4)

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 1853 Both Indiana and UNC are both great programs that will provide you with a great education and solid consulting opportunities. I would give a slight edge to Indiana given the cost savings and your desire to be close to Chicago. (1)
