alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1576 When discounted over the long run, then I’d think it’s a close call. Kellogg is in a tier above, so it makes sense to get these offers. Do you have any geographic preference, post MBA? Darden may have a strong network in DC, for example? (0)

anon78693 Likes Earned: 8 I am open to DC/VA, as well as the west coast and the south-pretty much anywhere but staying in the midwest or Northeast. Both schools place well on both coasts and I do think the Darden network in DC is unmatched. Hard to tell if the Kellogg network, in the long run, makes up for it. I think both schools can get me that first job, but thinking 5-10 years down the road is the tough call. (2)

anon10646 Likes Earned: 763 My general read is by 5-10 years out the network is more about exchanging student stories and sports (if applicable). What you've done since will matter way way more in progression and creating your professional network. That <5 years is where the network really helps to get post-MBA roles and lateraling companies. Perhaps explain what points you like about Kellogg to them, but explain the funding difference. If they don't come close to match, since you love Darden, go there. (2)
