Jaw drops to floor. Husband and I were climbing into bed (early cuz hello shelter in place) and at 8:35pm a call from Palo Alto comes in - we both were like noooo this can't be??

Welp - Kirsten must have been doing some late night calls because after some chit chat she finally shared the news leading to tears and pure primal joy! It was only made better when she said she didn't want to keep my husband waiting and if I could pass the phone to him (she was on speaker and he was quick to be like HEY KIRSTEN HI HI I AM HERE!)

This was truly an application we almost considered not doing thinking there was no shot in hell both of us could go together. So happy we submitted anyways despite our doubts.
