Question about Stanford GSB

Does anyone know if Stanford GSB will call admits before 12/5 thgis year? Are they keeping this practice?

anon84593 Likes Earned: 11 I think I’m w anon24525…fwiw I also called and asked explicitly if I should still hold hope for an invitation, and they said yes, that they couldn’t give me a cut-off date but that I could be invited as late as December 1… Safe to say I have somehow just stopped caring. I’ll hear by December 5 anyways. (2)

Question about Stanford GSB

I interviewed for R1 and am now in the post-interview pre-decision stage. I received a promotion from work (MBB strategy consulting) two days ago and am considering writing a few paragraphs and uploading the doc to the 'New Information' section of the portal (and maybe also an email to AdComs?).
Has anyone done this before? How should I structure the document? What is advised to be included?
FYI: My responsibilities do not change much, just a more standalone, senior strategy consultant.
I would appreciate any advice, thank you so much!

In terms of updating the committee, my view is that this is fine - as long as the school allows for it. I believe that some programs (like Stanford) have a spot where you can provide updates to your online application. I'd be brief and just indicate that you were promoted, with any relevant details (new title, wage increase). I would focus on the changes/autonomy (rather than saying it doesn't change your responsibilities!).

I would ONLY update schools that allow for these sorts of updates - e.g. read the fine print, since some programs are less keen to get data after the fact.

Per the comment above, if Stanford does say they don't want to know, I'd leave it be...although I'd thought they had a spot for this...but perhaps I am wrong.
