Notes:

3 years of experience by the time of matriculation at a global management consulting firm with about 10,000 people worldwide. I have chosen to develop my expertise in end-to-end supply chain optimization, with very extensive engagements in this space and mainly worked for Food & Bev clients. During my tenure, I have generated ~$10M in cost savings through hands-on implementation and operations at client companies, plus identified ~$100M savings opportunities through assessment work. During my second year, I joined a venture capital program that my own firm co-invested with a client company to develop an Op Tech software. I chose to exit the program to try more things after 1 year. I have not received any promotion at the time of application (round 1s), but expect to be promoted to Sr. Assoc in November.

My MBA goal is to transition from consulting to investment banking. After I few years in consulting, I come to the realization that operations and finance are the 2 pillars of a company's success. I have understood how operations improve financial health through cash flow, earnings, etc. Now I want to explore from the financial side, what a company can do to improve their performance/valuation. Therefore, I hope to pivot to investment banking and focus more on the capital structure, IPO, and potentially M&A.

I graduated with an Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, with a GPA of 3.8. My GRE is 333 (164 V + 169 Q). My extracurricular is limited. I am a member of a local non-profit organization, but only engage in volunteer events every now and then. Nothing long-term and stable.
