In this edition of our Real Humans: MBA Students series, we get to know some new members of the Harvard Business School MBA Class of 2027. This year’s class includes leaders shaped by corporate talent strategy, global consulting, professional sports, consumer brand building, and social-impact investing across emerging markets—all united by a desire to deepen their leadership capacity and broaden their impact.

To start, Haleigh Stark brings experience from human resources (HR), having worked in talent management and elevated HR’s role in driving organizational change. Then, Marc Berbari, whose career spans consulting engagements across the Middle East, adds a perspective shaped by operating in complex, high-stakes environments and navigating multiple cultures. Richard Freudenberg contributes the rare combination of elite athletics and private equity experience, drawing on lessons from leading teams under pressure and reinventing himself after a career-ending injury. From the consumer side, Roshni Bagli brings hands-on brand-building expertise from Unilever, grounding classroom discussions in the realities of innovation, supply chains, and scaling products that reach millions of consumers. Rounding out the group, Socrates Alvarez Florian offers a development-focused viewpoint informed by work in government and venture investing across Latin America, highlighting how entrepreneurship and private capital can drive inclusive growth alongside public policy.

Together, these students embody the intellectual curiosity, global mindset, and reflective ambition that characterize the HBS Class of 2027. Read on for their stories.
