Wharton MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 1
Date: Fall 2005 When I received an invitation to interview, I chose to visit Wharton for my interview. I felt that by making a trip to Wharton that I would show my interest and commitment to the program. I arrived in the office fifteen minute before my interview, and there were several MBAs and visiting students chatting in the office. Kellogg MBA Admissions Interview Questions
We had a detailed discussion and the interviewer seemed pleased that I had done a lot of research about Kellogg and what I could gain from the program. The questions were casual and a lot of informal chat was mixed in. The interviewer had a sheet on which he was making notes in different sections. He also seemed to have a piece of paper with some standard questions. Although the overall tone was friendly, there were a fair number of probing questions in between each answer I gave. Columbia MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Early Decision / Alumnus / Off Campus
Had my CBS interview almost two months ago. It was at an Alum’s office early in the morning (8 am). It was very casual and laid back. I started off talking about my education and career to date. Just had my Columbia interview. The interview was very conversational overall – with the alum informally bouncing back and forth between topics. Duke / Fuqua MBA Admissions Interview Questions: R2 / On-campus
The interviews at Fuqua are done by second year students who volunteer for the task. Mine was very professional, but I still don’t feel that I’m being taken as seriously as I would be if I were interviewing with an adcom. Kellogg MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 1 / Off campus / Alumni
Monday morning, bright and early, I met my Kellogg interviewer at this office for a 40 minute chat. This was better then the Anderson experience, but it was not brilliant. It is so much harder interviewing for school as compared to a job, where you know exactly what the position requires and can emphasize just those points to strengthen your candidacy. IESE MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 1 / Video Conference
Time and Location of interview I applied in R1 and got an almost immediate response from the adcoms. I scheduled my interview some time in mid November via video conference as, at the time, I was based in India and could not travel out to Barcelona for the open day. I had my interview with an alum whose contact was provided by adcom. I requested the alum to schedule an interview during weekends if possible and he was very accomodating about the same. I just finished my Kellogg interview around 40 mins back. And I really dont know what I should take away from it.
