Wharton MBA Admissions Interview Questions: R1

I interviewed on-campus with a second year student. He was very professional yet kept things conversational and relaxed. The interview lasted approximately 35 minutes and began with the standard, “Let’s take a look at your resume.” I walked him through my educational background – beginning with my choice of undergrad school and major, moved on to my two job experiences since undergrad, and briefly touched upon my long-term career goals (since they tie in with my career choices to date). Duke / Fuqua MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 1 / Alum

It was a very conversational and friendly kind of interview and lasted for about 1 hour. He made it clear that it was just another data point for admissions and not a make-or-break item. Duke / Fuqua MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Alumni / ED / Admitted

Kellogg MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 1 / Off campus / Alumni

Monday morning, bright and early, I met my Kellogg interviewer at this office for a 40 minute chat. This was better then the Anderson experience, but it was not brilliant. Stanford GSB MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Alum

Well, I suppose I’ll also share my interview experience although there’s not a tremendous amount to say that hasn’t already been said. I just finished my Kellogg interview around 40 mins back. And I really dont know what I should take away from it. I was surprised at this decision, at the same time not very surprised as the interview didn’t go that well for me and I feel that was what possibly drove the decision, the interviewer (2Y MBA Student) was quite out of touch with my pre MBA career field and struggled to understand my response to the interview questions, she had to draw me back a couple of times to understand what I was speaking about, so I can imagine how she was able to make a case for me when she was struggling to understand me.
