It was very friendly and warm! The student started with small talk which helped ease any nerves. We had 30 mins allocated for our interview, but we ended up talking for 45 mins. 1. Tell me about yourself. Why MBA? Short-term and long-term goals? One thing you hope to gain and one thing you hope to give to Tuck? When did you face a challenge? Failure? Professional success? And if any other questions for them. It was pretty standard, not a lot of follow-ups. I’m assuming since it was a second-year student they were more concerned about getting through the list. Advice – be very prepared with specific Tuck resources!

Interviewer was super friendly, but they will take more notes than other schools. My interviewer was awesome once we hit the “what questions do you have for me?” They have a rubric and they have to fill it out so be patient. I got all of the standard Tuck questions. Walk me through your resume. Why MBA / why now? Why Tuck / how will you show up in the community? TMATs Don’t be fooled by the standard question structure.
