SMU Cox MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Career Management / Zoom
Interview was conducted via Zoom and it was very conversational. I had an issue with my internet and with the browser sound settings, so it took me 2/3 minutes to reset everything again and I was nervous that it might leave a bad impression (in my defense, I use Zoom and nothing like that ever happened before). I finally got an admit with a scholarship for the 1 yr program, so I would say they were pragmatic about it. Interview Qs: 1. Please introduce yourself. 2. Follow up Q from the answer I gave for (1) and on

MIT Sloan MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Zoom
Interviewed with AdCom. Interview was largely reflective of other MIT Sloan reports that I’ve read on here (except for one point, detailed below) – predictable question set, to-the-point, with the interviewer remaining quite stoic the whole time. Surprisingly, the interviewer did not ask me about either of my pre-interview essays! Questions were as follows: 1. Have there been any changes to your application? 2. Tell me about a moment that you are most proud of. 3. Describe your leadership style, and give me an example. 4. Tell me about a difficult interaction at work. 5.

Stanford GSB MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Zoom
I joined the call 2 mins before the scheduled time; however, the interviewer was 5 mins late to the video call. He apologized multiple times for the delay and we started informally with talking about our personal lives. He works in the same industry as mine, hence it was easy for me to connect with him. Questions asked to me minutes: – Why MBA? Why GSB? – TMAT you showed positive results. – TMAT you managed different types of stakeholders (diversity and function). – Why did you switch jobs 3 times in your professional career?

UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Virtual
I didn’t plan to interview for UNC Kenan-Flagler, but ended up doing it and having a great experience. It was resume-based and very conversational, with an AdCom, online. What would you add to the school’s community? Any questions for me? Very chill interview!

INSEAD MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumni / Online
Two alumni interviewed me separately online via Google Meet (I picked this virtual platform since both of them are using Gmail so it’s easier and does not have time duration limit as Zoom does). Both interviews are résumé and application-form based, as the AdCom required candidates to send the latest resume & the application form to the interviewers. The interview questions are pretty structured. First, introduction of your experience (focusing on work experience). Second, questions around your resume: Introducing one of your work projects that you feel very proud of and why?; Introducing one challenge in your life that it

Texas McCombs MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Video Assessment & Peer Connection
There is a quick Video Assessment that covers the main interview. It is a Kira system that some other schools use instead of a typical online interview done by a person (adcom/alumni/ student). It was a 5 question assessment with two mins per question. 30 seconds for prep and rest for answering your questions. During setup, they do give you a mock/warmup questions to get use to the system prior to the actual 5 questions. Questions I got were typical MBA interview questions; nothing stood out. Introduce yourself. Long-/short-term goals? Why now? Describe a time you helped someone. Describe a

INSEAD interviews – one on the 26th and one on the 27th The adcom sends you two alumni in your area with similar backgrounds or interests to you, and you set up your own interviews; the only real requirement is that you have to schedule them before a certain date (indicated to you by admissions) so I would suggest reaching out to your interviewers ASAP to make sure you have a scheduling buffer. The interviews were both super friendly virtual interviews. Due to scheduling, I set up virtual ones, but you can choose to meet in person if you want.

Stanford GSB MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumna / Zoom
My interview was with an alumna that graduated >20 years ago. She had pre-MBA consulting experience like me. The tone was very friendly and high-energy. The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes, but went for an hour. She interjected several times throughout every story to ask follow-up questions and make sure she was understanding. I took this in a good way: I felt that she was really trying to get to know me and my decisions, and fill out whatever potential criteria she might have been weighing me against. For all questions except “tell me about yourself,” she requested that
