The Carnegie Mellon Tepper MBA Class of 2024 has a lot to share in this edition of our Real Humans: MBA Students series.

192 students matriculated at Tepper this fall for the full-time MBA Class of 2024. Thirty-one percent are women and 56 percent are international. Seventeen percent of the class identify as underrepresented minorities.

Located in Pittsburgh, PA, the Tepper School is the birthplace of the data-informed and emotionally intelligent approach to business: The Intelligent Future. The school offers a STEM-certified MBA program in four formats: Full-Time, Part-Time Online Hybrid, Part-Time Flex, and Part-Time Accelerated. Professors employ lectures, business cases, group projects and in-class presentations, among other methods to teach. First-year students are not divided into cohorts or assigned to sections, but instead take their core courses with a variety of classmates and professors.

This interconnectedness and collaborative environment is further supported by the business school’s facilities within the Tepper Quad. At 315,500 sq ft. the Tepper Quad emphasizes open spaces, with an abundance of windows, natural light and open space. The Quad includes two innovation classrooms with a flexible layout to accommodate a variety of instruction styles and 12 breakout spaces dedicated to master’s students. The Simmons Auditorium can accommodate up to 600 people and features a media wall and recording capabilities. The Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship invites campus-wide collaboration for engineering, product development, computer science, robotics and design alongside Tepper School students and faculty.
