I got my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from one of Mexico's top 5 Universities with 8.3/10 GPA. I started my professional career in digital marketing, quickly moving to IT Vendor Management at a top global CPG company. After 2 years in the role, I had learned a lot but it was a little too "back-office" for me. I decided to pivot to Sales and start over. I landed a job at HP, Inc as a Sales Analyst and, 4 years later, I'm working as a Sr. Key Account Manager at a large Mexican CPG/Pharma company, managing the account with Mexico's largest retailer (Walmart) and having worked as a Jr Key Account Manager for P&G in between.
Post-MBA goals are either moving into strategy consulting (possibly revolving around sales/go-to-market/execution strategy) or taking on a strategic planning role in the outdoor sports industry.
My main concern is my GPA (not as high as I would like it to be) and my years of work experience - concerned about 7.5 yrs if enrolling in 2026 or 8.5 if enrolling in 2027. Also weighing if the 1-year programs will be too short to be able to pivot.
