The officer started by asking me to introduce myself. Because of the time difference, we also had a quick chat about whether I’m a daytime/nighttime person. These are the major questions she asked:
1. How would you describe your role and leading style in a team?
2. Why MBA now? Why Stern and NYC?
3. What will you do to secure a seat of internship and a post-MBA offer for a consulting firm?
4. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
5. What will you bring to Stern?
6. Questions for the officer herself.
The process was smooth and the officer gave a lot of positive responses when I highlighted something that helped them understand who I am. I also updated some of my recent work results, which weren’t in the CV, raising the officer’s interest effectively.
