Interview Experience BU Questrom | R2 | Tech Background
The Experience:
I just wrapped up my interview with a member of the Graduate Admissions Team. It was scheduled for 30 minutes and lasted about 27 minutes.
The Vibe:
The interview started with a routine structure, but became much more conversational once we moved past the standard introductions. The interviewer was very engaged with my motivation for pivoting sectors.
Key Questions Asked:
1. Walk me through your resume.
2. Behavioral: How do you handle difficult situations at your job?
3. Behavioral: Tell me about a time you faced a conflict. How did you act?
4. Why MBA / Why US?
5. Reflection: Is there anything you would change about your past?
6. Goals: What are your short-term goals?
7. Community: What specific value will you add to the Questrom community?
Timeline & Notes:
• They mentioned final decisions for Round 2 should be out by February 27.
• They noted that an independent team reviews the profile separately to ensure a holistic evaluation.
