We head to Los Angeles, California, in this Real Humans: MBA Students to get an inside look at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
The students providing insights include Jordan Kouassi, who brings a strong analytical and strategic foundation to UCLA Anderson, shaped by experience in private wealth credit at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and four years as a senior analyst at McKinsey & Company. Approaching a new chapter, he chose UCLA Anderson to invest intentionally in learning, explore entrepreneurial ideas, and build long-term roots in Southern California, drawn by the school’s diverse career interests spanning tech, entertainment, and sports. Known for his energy and intensity in discussion, Jordan hopes to channel his passion into consumer tech and go-to-market strategy, particularly around AI-driven innovations that enhance everyday life.
We also hear from Saorla Whyte, who has an international perspective rooted in her upbringing in Cork, Ireland, and professional experience in recruitment and academic research at Stanford University. Seeking both a functional pivot into marketing and meaningful personal growth, she was drawn to Anderson’s rigorous academics, collaborative culture, and emphasis on shared success. Fluent in Irish and deeply engaged on campus, Saorla is excited to build community through leadership roles and student organizations while continuing to explore all that Los Angeles has to offer during her first year.
