The interview was with a second-year student, very calm and friendly. He tried to make me feel comfortable the whole time, emphasizing that it was just a light conversation to get to know me better. On top of that, he gave me lots of advice based on my ambitions and his own experience at UCLA.

He was really nice!

The questions didn’t stray much from the usual ones:
– Tell me about yourself.
– Why an MBA and why UCLA?
– A leadership story?
– Short-term and long-term career goals?
– What’s your Plan B? → after my answer, he shared his thoughts on other paths I could consider, which I found very thoughtful.
– How do you see yourself as a UCLA student? What do you imagine your day-to-day life as a student will be like?

I think those were the questions. It’s actually hard to say for sure because it was so fluid that it didn’t really feel like an interview.
