Coming from a non-traditional background and want to pivot to consulting. Long-term I want to end up in the energy industry working on sustainability @ startups. They're all great schools that can get me into consulting but am struggling to understand how prestige and MBA reputation plays in my long-term goals. (no interest in PE/VC)

As you noted, all are top MBA programs that would help you land a consulting job post MBA. A few questions: 1) Do you have any geographic preference? 2) Do you have any personal preference between these programs? 3) Would you prefer to go to a bigger school in a big city or a smaller school not in a city? 4) How much of a factor is the scholarship size? 4) How much is prestige a factor? anon41982 Likes Earned: 3 No geographic preference and would prefer to go to a smaller school. Scholarship matters a little but not a deciding factor and not looking to maximize prestige as long as it doesn't hinder me professionally. (edited) (0)

anon10646 Likes Earned: 874 You may not be interested in PE / VC for your own track, but if you exit to sustainable energy in start-ups having a network of classmates in PE / VC may be quite useful when you need to make connections for seed / angel / series equity funding events. (1)
