Interview Experience & Vibe: I purposely matched with a second-year student who shared my non-traditional background and was a fellow in a prestigious McCombs program. This allowed me to ask highly targeted questions about transitioning to traditional recruiting pipelines and understanding how I could be a part of said prestigious program. The overall vibe was warm, friendly, and encouraging, solidifying my confidence in choosing McCombs.
Advice to Future Applicants: Dig deep into the long-term goals and core values of both McCombs and the broader UT Austin community. Strongly aligning my application with these values is what I believe led to a generous scholarship offer.
