Haas Alum Discusses Inclusion and Accessibility on Business School Campuses
Alvaro Silberstein MBA ’17 chose to attend the Berkeley Haas School of Business not only for its proximity to Silicon Valley and educational strengths, but also because the school had a proud history of helping students with disabilities. Harvard Reclaims Top Spot in Financial Times 2020 Global MBA Rankings
The Financial Times released their 2020 Global MBA rankings this week. Harvard Business School reclaimed the #1 position—after a four-year absence from the top spot. Wharton also surpassed last year’s top seed (Stanford GSB) to land in second place. Stanford GSB, which has held the top position for several years, fell to third in the Global MBA rankings. Inside the Updates to Dartmouth Tuck MBA Core Curriculum
The new refined curriculum at Dartmouth Tuck began in earnest last summer with the arrival of the Class of 2021. The goal was to improve the core curriculum with more integrated courses and programs to lay a better foundation for future learning. The update began after a multi-year review conducted by students, faculty, recruiters, alumni, and staff. The result: a “refined core curriculum” focused intentionally on the career journey of students.

New STEM Track in Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Program
Starting in the Fall of 2020, Michigan Ross will offer its Full-Time MBA students a new STEM-designated track. The new track focuses on quantitative management and business analytics across industries and is ideal for students interested in pursuing STEM-related business careers.

Cornell Johnson MBA Class of 2019 Employment Report
The Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management recently shared the employment report for their Two-Year MBA Class of 2019. Of the 282 graduates, 264 sought full-time employment post-MBA. Of those individuals seeking job opportunities, 94 percent received offers within three months of graduation, and 93 percent accepted. According to David B. Forget Competition: Women Help Other Women at HEC Paris
Women’s MBA enrollment has reached its highest level ever, reaching 36 percent in Europe and Canada, according to the Forté Foundation. Over the last five years, there’s been a definitive increase in female students at top business schools around the world, and Forté CEO Elissa Sangster believes that “at this pace, we’re confident we’ll reach our goal of 40 percent women’s enrollment by 2020.” More women MBAs means more economic mobility for women around the world. Duke Fuqua MBA Class of 2019 Beats Hiring Records
The Duke Fuqua MBA Class of 2019 had a record year for hiring. Within three months of graduation, 97 percent of the class had received job offers with 95 percent accepting, which, according to the associate dean of their Career Management Center, Sheryle Dirks, marks the highest percentages in at least twenty years. The median annual base salary also rose 8 percent from the previous year to $135,725. But that’s just scratching the surface of the Duke MBA Employment Report for 2018/2019.

More than 160 prospective students, alumni, faculty and staff attended Cornell /Johnson's annual Diversity Symposium earlier this month.
