The SMU Cox online MBA application is now live for the 2015-2016 admissions season, meaning that the Cox MBA recommendation questions are available for MBA applicants and their recommenders.
2015-2016 SMU Cox MBA Recommendation Questions
In addition to an inquiry about the recommender’s contact information, the admissions committee poses contextual questions and asks recommender to summarize the strength of their recommendations:
1. Why would you recommend the applicant for the Cox School of Business? (1000 characters)
2. What are the applicant’s strengths, outstanding talents, or characteristics? (1000 characters)
3. Applicant weaknesses: (1000 characters)
4. Please feel free to add any additional comments that would be beneficial to the admissions committee. (1000 characters)
5. Please Indicate your overall evaluation.
The recommender is asked to select from the following options: Enthusiastically Recommend, Recommend, Recommend with reservations, Do not recommend.
