The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine has just posted the 2018-2019  UCI Merage essay question and deadlines for MBA applicants targeting the Class of 2021.

2018-2019 UCI Merage Essay Question

Essay 1:
Describe your career goals upon graduation from the Merage MBA program. Please be as specific as possible including a desired position, function, industry and/or target companies. (150 words or less)

Essay 2:
We must adapt both ourselves and our businesses for the disruption inherent in the digital environment. With this in mind, please identify an emerging trend in your stated industry or function of interest. How will the impact of technology and the skills you develop at Merage help you navigate this trend and be a value-add to a future employer? (500 words or less)

Optional Essay:
At the Paul Merage School of Business, we are ambitious. We are intellectually hungry. We have a calling to deliver educational excellence valuing diversity, collaboration, inclusivity and respect. In an effort to better understand the context of your achievements, is there any other information about your background, family or experience that you would like to share with the Admissions Committee? (300 words or less)

Round 1 Application Deadline: November 1, 2018

Round 2 Application Deadline: December 1, 2018

Round 3 Application Deadline: February 1, 2019*

Round 4 Application Deadline: April 1, 2019

Round 5 Application Deadline: June 1, 2019

*If you are an international applicant, it is recommended to submit your application by this date.
