My Georgetown / McDonough MBA interview was enjoyable. This was a blind interview with the interviewer only having access to my resume. Many conversational questions about my career, goals, and reason for pursuing an MBA.

Questions

  1. Explain you current career trajectory and common themes in your resume.
  2. Why pursue an MBA and why now? Explain your reasoning in forgoing other career options.
  3. Why Georgetown?
  4. What are your short-term and long-term career goals?
  5. Explain a piece of constructive criticism you’ve received and how you reacted to it.
  6. How have you overcome challenges in working with both functional and dysfunctional teams?
  7. How have you dealt with working with people from different backgrounds? (E.g. religious, cultural, professional, etc.)
