UC Berkeley Haas MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Off-campus

MBA Admissions Brief: Berkeley / Haas

The interviewer started by introducing himself and walking me through how the interview goes and the time frame for the interview (45 min with the last 10-15 min for me to ask questions). He highlighted that he only saw my resume and has not seen my application, and told me to feel free to talk about things that were already part of my application. He had a set of questions already provided by the school which he picked questions from and asked a few questions specifically about experiences in my resume.

  • Tell me about a challenging situation, how you reacted to the challenge, and how it influenced you
  • Tell me about a time you made the work place more equitable/gender balanced
  • Tell me about a weakness you have
  • What are you goals?
  • Why the MBA now?
  • Why Haas?
