We are here for another look at student life in this installment of Real Humans: MBA Students, this time with the Michigan Ross School of Business MBA Class of 2025.

Michigan Ross welcomed 379 students to the Class of 2025. Forty-three percent of the new group are women and 43 percent are international. Forty-three percent identify as U.S. students of color. LGBTQIA2S+ make up 10 percent of the new Ross class.

During their undergraduate years, the Ross MBA Class of 2025 averaged a GPA of 3.43. Thirty-four percent had majored in business, 44 percent in STEM and 22 percent in humanities. Seventeen percent of the new class reported being the first in their families to attend college.

When it came time to take the GMAT, Ross students’ average score landed at 719 and the middle 80 percent ranged from 670 to 760. For those who took the GRE, the Verbal score came in at an average of 160 and the Quant at 162.

The Ross MBA Class of 2025 averages 5.8 years of work experience. Eighteen percent come from a consulting background while 17 percent came from finance. Sixteen percent hailed from the tech industry and 12 percent had worked in healthcare. Ten percent come from engineering/manufacturing work. Eight percent had served in the military.
