The interview felt super laid-back, almost like we were just having a chat. He kicked things off by telling me a bit about his life and work, then shifted the spotlight to me. About 15 minutes in, he mentioned my profile looked strong and that he had no more questions, which led us into a Q&A where I picked his brain for another 12 minutes.

He asked me:

  • To share a bit about myself.
  • Something more about a detail I mentioned.
  • Why I’m interested in Anderson.
  • What are my strengths and how will I leverage those to contribute to Anderson.
  • My career plans.

He even gave me his email at the end and told me to reach out if I had questions about living in LA. (Totally reading between the lines here) but not sure what a short interview might mean for my chances. I understand these interviews are primarily to assess fit, but the lack of behavioural questions has left me wondering.
