Esade, which has three campuses located in Barcelona, Sant Cugat, and Madrid, Spain, now plans to open an additional campus in Madrid in early 2025. The new campus facilities will be located in the northern Mirasierra district, which already includes several educational institutions, improving the area’s status as a hub for research, education, and talent development.

Xavier Mendoza, Esade’s director general, stated in the school’s announcement, “This new campus is in response to the increased demand for our Executive Education programs and we will bolster this campus as a meeting point for businesses, their managers and our entire community. Today, Esade is a benchmark forum generating ideas for public discussion and boosting economic and social growth. The new campus will drive our aim of providing inspiration and guidance for enterprises and companies as they deal with change.”

Esade partnered with Savills, a consulting firm, on architecture and design. The school has planned a single four-story structure with over 4,800 square meters (nearly 52,000 square feet) of cutting-edge innovation and tech facilities, all maximized for energy savings and comfort. Included in the new campus layout are 13 classrooms, “teamwork rooms” designed around Esade’s exclusive teaching method for its management training programs, an auditorium, media room, and leisure and networking areas. The new campus will also feature space for virtual reality and immersive experiences, as well as multipurpose “wellbeing” areas.

Esade’s new campus will primarily house the Esade Executive Education program. The Esade Executive MBA, Program for Management Development (PMD), Advanced Management Program (AMP), and Executive Masters in Finance, Digital Business, and Marketing are all expected to be taught on the new campus. In addition, it will also serve as the research centers of EsadeGeo, the EsadeEcPol Economic Policy Center, and the Esade Corporate Governance Center; as well as alumni and corporate offices.
