Shelly joined the staff of SMU Cox in August 2024 and brings 20 years of experience in the higher education, corporate and nonprofit sectors with direct experience working in five business schools. Her responsibilities have included admissions, recruitment, marketing, employer/business development and career services. She is actively involved in the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) and has served as faculty for the Admissions Institute for New Professionals for two years. Heinrich previously served as associate dean and managing director of MBA Admissions and executive director of program marketing at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Heinrich earned her MBA from Georgetown McDonough, an M.Ed. from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University.
