276 new students joined the MBA Class of 2027 at Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. Here are some key elements of the latest MBA class profile:

The Cornell Johnson MBA Class of 2027 brings a mix of talent and diversity to the program. Twenty-six percent of the class comprises underrepresented U.S. minorities, including Black/African Americans, Native Americans, and Hispanic Americans–a four percent increase over last year. Women make up 38 percent of the cohort, only a three percent dip from last year. Veterans and active service members remain a strong presence at 14 percent, a five percent jump compared to the Class of 2026.

On the global front, 42 percent of the class are international students, representing 34 different countries. This represents a seven percent increase over last year–and also bucks the trend of decreasing international representation in the U.S.

Academically, the class has maintained a median undergraduate GPA of 3.4, while the median GMAT score also holds steady at 710. Although Cornell did not report GRE scores or details on undergraduate majors or previous careers, the class brings an average of 5.3 years of full-time professional experience, with the average student age sitting at 29.
