The Real Humans of the HEC Paris MBA Class of 2027 capture the program’s distinctive blend of global perspective, intellectual range, and community-first energy. This group spans three continents and multiple sectors—from consulting and social impact to people analytics, deep tech and AI, and biopharma innovation.
To start, Gabriela Scott matriculated after several years in consulting at Grant Thornton and Guidehouse, and is using the MBA as a deliberate reset to fill knowledge gaps and refocus on learning. With roots split across Europe, South America, and North America, she’s drawn to HEC’s international community and is already leaning into campus life through student leadership and wellbeing-focused commitments. Then, Michael Nnamdi Peters brings a people analytics and digital transformation lens from Sterling Bank, shaped by experience across diverse African corporate contexts and multiple industries. Inspired by a leadership conversation about reimagining HR as a business lever, he’s pursuing HEC Paris to build the strategic and entrepreneurial capabilities to disrupt how organizations design culture, talent, and technology.
Then, from the deep-tech frontier, Sadam Alabed Alrazak joined HEC Paris as an early leader working at the intersection of AI, strategy, and operations in cybersecurity. Recognizing that his responsibilities have outpaced formal business training, he chose the MBA to strengthen his foundation in finance, leadership, and strategy. And in healthcare innovation, Shreya Pal makes a bold pivot from the lab to the boardroom. After six years as a senior scientist in HIV drug discovery at ViiV Healthcare (GSK), she’s pursuing the MBA to bridge science and business, accelerate how innovations reach patients, and explore paths like biotech venture capital or market access.
Together, these HEC Paris MBA students represent a cohort defined by curiosity, conviction, and a willingness to grow in uncomfortable spaces. Read on for their stories.
