Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I wanted to pursue Sustainability Management and/or Supply Chain. I love MSU so very much and I wasn’t quite ready to leave!
Why did you choose Michigan State Broad? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
Everyone I know that is in Broad truly loves it, the connections are excellent, everyone has a great work ethic and ambition. There are a million resources at our disposal for career placement, assistance with our studies, etc.
What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2028?
I think that I am a unique candidate due to my background in sustainability, With the brand new Sustainability Concentration I will quite literally be the first batch of students to graduate with a sustainability concentration. That along with my other concentration in Supply Chain I believe will make me a truly unique mix and I plan to graduate hopefully as one of the most knowledgeable businessmen in my field.

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
I spent a lot of time working with advisors in the Broad College of Business and previous professors to ensure that my application was as finely tuned as possible!
–What is one thing you would change or do differently?
I would get my application in way earlier! I wasn’t entirely sure about post graduate plans until March of this year, so I was a very final round applicant. It was quite stressful for me as to get it all in on time so I’ve been working to improve my time management.
–What is one part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
The online short video section on the application was scary! I just told myself to be myself and answer to the best of my ability and it worked out.
What is your initial impression of the Michigan Broad students/culture/community?
Everyone is extremely outgoing, social, and determined. I don’t want to fall behind and my peers push me to be the best version of myself!
What student organizations have you joined/are you hoping to join and why?
In my undergrad I was and still am involved in the Varsity Esports Team and the Casual Music Club. Additionally, in this past month I have joined and attended events for the Entrepreneurship Club, the Multicultural Club, Global Supply Chain Masters Association, and the Broad Consulting Club. I think being involved on campus just leads to so many opportunities and so many great connections!
What is one thing you have learned about Michigan Broad that has surprised you?
Honestly how many resources are here to help us succeed, this has been one of the most interactive programs I have ever been apart of and I love how everyone looks out for each other.
What is one thing you are most excited about in your first year?
I’m excited to improve my supply chain knowledge and attend as many events as I can to strengthen my self. Additionally, I’m extremely excited to deepen my connections with all the friends I’ve made in my cohort as they are seriously all so great.
