The WashU Olin Business School MBA Class of 2027 is a tight-knit group of people who didn’t come to business school to hit pause; they came to solve bigger problems, lead with integrity, and build meaningful careers rooted in impact. In this Real Humans: MBA Students, we meet some new students who reflect Olin’s values-based, data-driven approach and its emphasis on community, flexibility, and hands-on learning in the heart of St. Louis.
To start, Anh Phuong Do, a former Senior Advisory professional at EY in Ho Chi Minh City, was drawn to Olin’s strengths in business analytics, operations, and startup-oriented programming—as well as its intimate cohort size and the lifestyle shift of St. Louis. Whether she’s working at the Boeing Center for Supply Chain Innovation or exploring entrepreneurial opportunities through The Hatchery and BIG IdeaBounce, Anh is focused on becoming the kind of leader who can design scalable, ethical systems for global brands. Then, Justin Eldridge arrived at Olin after seven years of serving others, first as a U.S. Army officer, then in healthcare tech at Oracle Health. His move into business school is about channeling his leadership and project management skills into operations and supply chain roles that sit at the center of modern industry’s biggest challenges. With a background that spans customer service, logistics, collections, and four years in compliance at Deutsche Bank, we also meet Travis Brandow. After earning a Master of Science in Finance, he chose Olin for its reputation, entrepreneurial support, and flexible curriculum.
Together, Anh, Justin, and Travis illustrate what makes WashU Olin distinctive: a values-driven, globally minded MBA where small classes create big opportunities for connection, professors bridge theory and practice in real time, and students from very different walks of life push each other to build more ethical, resilient, and innovative organizations.
