Interviewer was super friendly, but they will take more notes than other schools. My interviewer was awesome once we hit the “what questions do you have for me?” They have a rubric and they have to fill it out so be patient.
I got all of the standard Tuck questions.
- Walk me through your resume.
- Why MBA / why now?
- Why Tuck / how will you show up in the community?
- TMATs
Don’t be fooled by the standard question structure. Why Tuck should be your best answer because that is when the interviewer was absolutely engaged with eye contact. Rest of the interview, they take notes, but that question is where you have undivided attention. To prepare, probe early and often with current students, clubs, and alumni to find the right people to help you build your why Tuck. Tuckies were awesome and happy to refer so if you have some particular thing you are interested in just ask if they know someone.
Truly is a place where all you have to do is ask.
When you ask them questions: They were super candid, so let natural questions develop. Good to come prepared, but we had an awesome conversation about things I didn’t plan to ask.
