The interview was very laid back and straightforward – Super casual to begin where we discussed a bit about our current locations, local neighborhood details, and the overall interview structure. We then started through the traditional questioning:

  • Tell me a bit about yourself / your professional background.
  • Why this program? / How can our school help you reach your goals in your target sector?
  • Tell me about a time when you contributed to a community by demonstrating a commitment to something larger than yourself. How did this promote inclusion, and how will you bring that perspective to campus?
  • Tell me about a time when humility in the workplace facilitated a successful outcome.
  • Follow-up: What was going on in your head during that moment/what was your thought process before arriving at that decision?
  • Tell me about the biggest risk that you’ve taken in your professional life, and what the result was.
  • Tell me something you would do differently if you were given the opportunity.
  • Is there anything else that you would like to share with the admissions committee that hasn’t been covered today?
  • Any questions for me?

Overall very straightforward and what I had expected. The interviewer was super nice and the interview was super conversational, ending with a great Q&A about student life, career pivots, managing Plan B/C options, and local housing.
