Interviewed 2/27 with a recent alum from Booth. Entirely resume based. It was a pretty standard Why MBA/Why Booth/Behavioral Questions interview. I had requested an in-person interview with an alum, but I guess there weren’t any available in my large city!!

I was a bit surprised by the specific question about Chicago, but had an answer prepared. We spent the rest of the interview chatting about Booth and our career goals.
I had a great rapport with my interviewer! I thought she was super cool. She responded to my thank you note less than an hour after I sent it. I don’t know if it was random that we were matched together, but I naturally had a lot in common with my interviewer and I think that really helped!
