The interview was résumé-based and conducted by an alumnus. It was very conversational and not strictly structured.
We started with a walkthrough of my background, followed by questions such as describing a time I had to make a tough decision, my biggest achievement, and a challenging experience. A large part of the conversation focused on my post-MBA goals, including why that path and what my plan B would be. We also discussed Why MBA, Why now, Why Booth, and how I would contribute to the community.
What stood out was the depth of the follow-up questions on career goals. It felt like they were really testing how well I had thought through my plans.
I am currently awaiting an admissions decision.
