Submitted my application about 2 weeks after the Round 3 deadline, and was admitted before Round 4 deadline. I was a cum laude undergrad alumni (from another NYU school, not Stern), so that may have contributed to the quick admit.
Interview was on the shorter side, about 30-40 minutes, and was very conversational. Probably one of my most pleasant interviews – Adcom was incredibly enthusiastic and kind. I was asked a question about one of my Pick Six slides, the typical “Why MBA, why Stern, why now,” one or two resume-based questions, and then about two behavioral questions. I was also asked about my plans for how I’d go about securing my intended internship and post-grad roles. Interview ended with about 10 minutes for me to ask my own questions.
I got the impression that my interview may have been on the more casual side because of my existing connection to the school (I also have a sibling that graduated from Stern). Nothing particularly surprising, and the interviewer was able to answer all my questions. There seems to be a lot of connectivity between Stern and other graduate schools within NYU, which I think is a huge strength of the school.
