The interview was on Zoom with a member of the Adcom. She was super kind, set the scene and put me at ease. This included saying that it’s a conversation, that she might interrupt me with follow-up questions to get more context and that she was happy for me to use examples I had already spoken about in my application. She framed the interview as a chance for her to get to know me so she’d be able to advocate for me.
Questions:
– Tell me about a time when you were effective? (lots of follow up questions)
– Tell me about a time you used your insights to persuade your team to do things differently? (follow up questions)
– Context re: GRE quant score (lower than expected) & follow-up questions.
– Any questions for me?
