Why I Want an MBA
I didn’t grow up with a traditional view of education. At school, I was restless — I wanted to work, to build, to see the world beyond the classroom. My grades reflected that impatience. At the time, I didn’t yet understand that education isn’t just about exams or textbooks; it’s about expanding the way you think, lead, and create.
Years later, after founding my own business and managing a team, I began to see that gap clearly. I learned through experience — selling, negotiating, leading — but without structure or guidance. What began as an instinctive, small-scale venture turned into a real operation, and through that growth I discovered both my strengths and my limits. I realised that if I want to create something truly global — a company that scales sustainably and impacts lives — I need to strengthen the foundation beneath my ambition.
My motivation to pursue an MBA now comes from both reflection and conviction. Through my volunteer work teaching English and maths in a rehabilitation centre, I witnessed how access to education can reshape someone’s future. It gave me perspective on privilege, opportunity, and what real leadership means. That experience reignited my belief that business, when guided by purpose, can be one of the most powerful forces for change.
An MBA will give me the structured knowledge and global network I need to grow — not just as an entrepreneur, but as a leader capable of building scalable systems that create opportunity for others. I want to deepen my understanding of global markets, finance, and organisational behaviour, while developing the leadership qualities that inspire collaboration across cultures and industries.
Most of all, I want to surround myself with people who think differently — classmates who challenge me, share my drive to build meaningful ventures, and perhaps even become future co-founders. I see the MBA not as a break from entrepreneurship, but as the most important investment I can make in it — a chance to transform practical experience into lasting, thoughtful impact.
