Question about Washington U. / Olin

I had my interview with Olin in October; I'd say it went well. I received an 'update from Olin: Decision Timing' email stating that they look forward to an interview and that a decision will be made afterwards. However, I did not receive further information about said interview. Has anyone experienced this, and what should happen next?

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1314 Is it possible that the interview to which the email refers is the one you have already had? Like, perhaps this is an email that is meant for any applicant who has been invited to interview...and they sent it out a bit late in your case?

In general, if you have interviewed, the ball is in the school's court and they will contact you when a decision is rendered. In which round did you apply? If R1, you should have heard by November 9th. If R2, December 14th is the decision date, so you still have time...

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1314 According to Wash U. Olin's stated timeline, you should have received a final decision by November 9th. I would reach out to their admissions office immediately - perhaps by forwarding them the email you received and explaining your confusion, since you'd already interviewed.

Have you not had any contact with them since receiving that email back on November 9th?

anon16631 Likes Earned: 11 I didn't reach out to them initially as I spoke to an Alumn who had a similar situation, but I think as time has passed and I haven't heard from them, it would make sense to reach out. (1)
