Hello,

I hope everyone is doing well and received the news they were hoping for as we conclude the admissions season. My question is the following: Is it possible to be admitted into a top mba program (i.e. M7) if you're 30 years old? Have anyone succeeded in gaining entry into the M7? I heard that Stanford and Harvard favors younger applicants compared to other programs.

Question about NYU Stern

I applied R4 April 16. So far I have only seen one interview invite for someone who applied round 4, and I'm getting worried. Are there others that are still waiting/think that they are still rolling out interview invites or are they done inviting R4 people for interviews? Just a nervous applicant here!

Question about All Schools

I was listening to a Silicon Valley podcast. It was mentioned that undergraduate degrees at top
universities are significantly more prestigious and that the students who are admitted tend to be much smarter than those who went to a typical undergrad and then went to HS for MBA. For example Harvard college has a 3% acceptance rate but HBS is as high as 15%. Wharton is at like 25% acceptance. Is there merit to this and does it have implications for how we should think about MBA brand value?
