IE Business School Interview Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Off-campus

The following IE Business School interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant who was admitted. Congratulations to them!

The interview took place in an office space the interviewer was borrowing. He was very friendly and easy to speak to. He did not necessarily ask me questions about my résumé, but instead brought up parts of my résumé or essays that he was particular impressed with. He was very open about expressing admiration for my accomplishments and bringing up minute details of my application that demonstrated the thoroughness in their review of my application.

Overall the interviewer spoke for the majority of the time, and I tried to chime in as much as possible but I think they had already decided to admit me before the interview and the meeting was more to convince me to choose their school. I was sent a formal acceptance letter a few days later and although I enjoyed the interview and loved the school, I declined for a higher ranked school.
