Arrived on campus in time for tour and was able to watch a class. Everyone on campus was super friendly and welcoming. I was scheduled to interview with one member of the admissions committee but she was ill and interviewed with different member. He was extremely friendly and we had a really pleasant conversation. It was by far my most relaxed interview and the one I feel most confident in. Questions asked include the following:
- Why MBA?
- Short term goal
- What motivates you?
- What leadership skills looking to learn (at this point we discussed their Leadership program in depth)?
- Why Kenan-Flagler (again leadership conversation)?
- Ideal position after MBA?
- Questions for me?
The entire interview was really focused on leadership and how UNC will help me grow as a leader. There were no real behavioral questions asked. Interview approximately 30 minutes.
