As many of you are only too aware, yesterday was the deadline to hit submit for Harvard Business School’s (HBS) Round 1 application. Several of you chimed in on Clear Admit’s MBA Livewire as soon as the deed was done. Congratulations!
For anyone unfamiliar with LiveWire, it can serve as a great community forum as you make your way through the MBA application process. It’s a place to share accomplishments (such as completing the application), pose questions (has anyone heard anything from X school) and provide updates (just received an invitation to interview!!!). And as decision days roll around, it’s also a great place to get and give moral support and encouragement.
Speaking of interviews, now that you’ve gotten your HBS application in, now’s a perfect time to start preparing for the interview. Clear Admit’s Interview Guides provide detailed, school-specific tips on what to expect in the interview and how to prepare to ace it. The HBS Interview Guide, for example, offers advice for approaching the post-interview reflection essay, as well as a range of commonly asked interview questions (as submitted by past years’ applicants) and strategic approaches to answering them.
The most recent batch of comprehensive interview guides, freshly updated with new information for the current interview season, are now available in the Clear Admit shop for HBS, Columbia Business School, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Dozens more updated guides will be added to the shop in the coming weeks, just in time for critical interview prepping.
Remember, too, as you gear up for interview season, that Clear Admit’s Interview Archive is a must-visit resource. Here you’ll find thousands of first-person accounts submitted by applicants just like you, fresh on the heels of their own interviews at leading business schools. Between the Clear Admit Interview Guides and the Interview Archive, you’ll have everything you need to know before interviews roll around.
And for those of you still perfecting applications for some of the schools whose deadlines are approaching—Cambridge Judge, Oxford Saïd, Yale SOM, Fuqua and MIT Sloan, for example—don’t miss our detailed essay topic analysis for each and every school. Round 1 is officially in full swing, and we’re glad you’re here.
