The following INSEAD interview questions report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 4 applicant who was accepted. Congratulations to them!
First interview
This was with an alumnus who studied at INSEAD in the 1990s. Arranging the interview was extremely smooth (as he has a PA). After feeling slightly intimidated by the interviewer’s impressive office, I quickly calmed down when the interview started. He seemed genuinely interested in my career path and asked a lot of questions about why I made certain decisions as well as the classic “Why an MBA?” question. There weren’t any unexpected questions. About half of the interview was actually about his experience at INSEAD – I learned a lot about how the MBA influenced his career as well as the programme (he was very balanced and provided some negative insights to help prepare me for the course too!).
Second interview
This was more difficult to arrange as the interviewer did not work in London, so we ended up scheduling the interview in the evening at a café. As with the first interview, this one felt quite informal too. She also asked me to walk her through my CV. Her background is more similar to mine, and I really enjoyed hearing about her experiences at INSEAD and the alumni network.
Overall, there was nothing unexpected in either interview. After hearing about the interviewers’ experiences at INSEAD, I felt more compelled to accept the offer.
