The following Michigan / Ross MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!

Interview was very conversational and my interviewer was really friendly. He started out the conversation by telling me a little about himself and told me we needed to get through 7 questions that he had to ask me. Most of it was what you would expect, what me through your resume, etc. There were a couple times where he wanted more information about a particular accomplishment or experience I had. I’m very involved with a non-profit organization that supports female adolescent issues and he asked me a lot about those experiences because he had a daughter himself. One question that caught me a little off guard was tell me about a time where you were on a diverse team or project that involved a diverse business issue and what did you learn from it (e.g., worked within a cross-functional team, acted as the bridge between two groups etc.). He was pretty worried we wouldn’t finish on time so I only had enough time to ask him one question before we had to conclude the interview.

All in all I think it went really well – mostly because he assured me when we were finished that I had done well :). I sent him a Thank You note the next day and he wrote me back saying he enjoyed the conversation as well.

Hopefully I get good news in 8 days!
