The following Michigan / Ross MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!

I finished my interview last month. The interview was really long, which lasted 1.5 hour. I don’t know why the interviewer has so many behavior questions to ask. I suggest you pick on-campus interview or Skype because these two format are more standardized and within time frame.

The cafe my interviewer chose to meet is quite quiet!!! Everyone there was reading books or doing homework, this particular cafe has background music in very low volume. It’s soooo weird for me to speak loud and disturb others, so I tried to speak gently but may let the interviewer feel I’m not confident.

The questions I got are:

1. Walk through you résumé.
2. Why MBA at this time?
3. Why Ross?
4. Team work experience in which you showed leadership.
5. A time you need to mentor others.
6. A time you have to work with different people.
7. A time you received feedback from your supervisor.
8. What is your strength and weakness.
9. What is the skills you want to get from MBA.
10. What can you imagine would be the obstacles for you in MBA.
11. Q&A.

In Q&A part, I prepared 3 questions to ask my interviewer, but she seemed not want to answer, just give a few simple words. My interviewer is not so approachable as other Rossers I know. I should have gone with on-campus interview.
