I visited campus and interviewed with a second-year student. She made me feel right at ease, and was quite skilled at asking the classic interview questions in a way that didn’t make it feel like I was being interrogated. It felt more like a conversation among friends.

- What are your short & long term career goals?
- How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
- Most significant professional accomplishment?
- Most significant personal accomplishment?
- What characteristics do you feel good teams possess?
- Recent piece of critical feedback you’ve received from a manager?
- Describe a time where you dealt with a disagreement among your coworkers…
- If you had two minutes to stand in front of the admissions committee, what would you say?
- Any other questions for [the interviewer]?
Whole thing lasted about an hour, with no real oddball questions. But there were one or two that I hadn’t prepared for.
Overall it was a great experience. Fuqua does well to showcase their culture to prospective students who visit campus. Would highly recommend visiting Durham if you’re considering Duke.
